Google Senior Financial Analyst, Supply Chain in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, consulting, a related function, or an advanced degree.

  • Experience with supply chain (e.g., semiconductor or hardware).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in financial modeling and business case development.

  • Experience within a strategy or boutique consulting firm.

  • Knowledge of technical server components/assembly.

  • Ability to communicate analysis, logic, and solutions in a clear and concise manner.

  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, presentation, influencing, and business partnering skills, with the ability to multitask in an evolving environment.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Support the Product Life-cycle and Technical Operations (PLaTO) team in Technical Infrastructure, annual planning process through SMEs and decisions support.

  • Lead financial reviews with senior leadership in CSCO and Finance.

  • Create key performance metrics and goals to measure financial and operational performances for both internal and external reporting.

  • Lead core financial processes, forecasting, and spend approval processes, as well as process improvement and data automation efforts, while working with cross-functional teams.

  • Construct executive level presentations and present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and decision-impacting manner.
