The Position and Job Summary

  • Schedules all-staff training courses and provides applicable scheduling updates including, but not limited to upcoming events, rescheduling, event reminders, and passed due trainings and other communication and follow ups. Tracks all-staff training attendance in LMS.

  • Provides support to staff in the LMS including, but not limited to in-person/virtual training calendar invitations, eLearning modules, surveys, and enrollments.

  • Enrolls staff into courses in the LMS and various training platforms as assigned by the Training and Development Supervisor.

  • Tracks completion of courses and maintains learner transcripts.

  • Runs monthly reports from the LMS to deliver training metrics for review.

  • Uploads and updates training materials, including eLearning modules, in the LMS and training library as assigned by the Training and Development Supervisor.

  • Supports the agency with conference room set up/breakdown of in-person training at all three office locations (Chatsworth, Santa Clarita, Lancaster). Deploys audio/visual equipment as assigned. Sets up virtual classes as applicable.

  • Assembles training materials (ie: workbooks and manuals) from approved designs as assigned by the Training and Development Supervisor.

  • Other projects as assigned. Overtime as needed.

Compensation

This position is non-exempt. Regular Salary: $27.29 - $30.02 per hour. 

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite, preferred.

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs. 

Education & Experience

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferred.

  • 1 to 2 years of related training experience.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience working as an LMS administrator, preferred.

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a training coordinator, preferred.

Essential Requirements

  • Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation, or acceptable substitute, required.  

  • Upon job offer acceptance, candidates will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
