The Senior Manager, Breakroom Solutions Executive will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Business Development Managers solely focused on prospecting and closing net new Breakroom programs in the Medium to Large account segment. This role will help develop and execute Staples Breakroom GTM strategy and making Staples the #1 Breakroom solution provider in the marketplace. This role is responsible for driving accelerated profitable growth and delivering annual new business budget through effective leadership, talent management and the execution of strategic sales initiatives. Sr Mgr Business Development Breakroom is responsible for developing associates and managing to KPIs of their team. Works 1:1 with BDMs to assist with opportunity prioritization and strategy development.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coach and assist BDMs in both 1:1 or group format to reinforce Professional and Strategic Selling Skills, on opportunity prioritization and strategy, attainment of KPIs to drive results,

  • Coach BDMs through difficult customer conversations, offer unique and different ways of looking at opportunities.

  • Effectively manage Pipeline and hold Pipeline reviews with team on a regular cadence.

  • Partner with Sale Effectiveness to implement GTM strategies

  • Hire, Retain & Develop talent by maintaining a robust talent pipeline, motivating top performers, and managing underperformers

  • Monitor emerging marketplace trends and available data to drive decision making and ensure evolution of sales strategy and execution.

  • Collaborate with the internal partners to develop programs that will increase profitability and penetration of categories (Sales Effectiveness, Pricing, Customer Service, Sales Ops) to meet prospect needs

  • Ability to design and negotiate intricate contracts that avoid potential risks for company but are value based for customer.

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years successful progressive sales experience

  • 3+ years of successful sales management experience.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree.

  • Industry knowledge.

  • Five years of successful B2B sales or B2B sales management experience
