Requirements:Bachelors degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related. 3 months of experience as a Production Supervisor Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related. Experience must include: Understanding of the whole poultry plant process, inputs, outputs and factors that can affect or improve plant KPIs (Yields, Efficiency and costs); Data analysis tools to identify opportunities (GAPS) effectively present opportunities to upper management; Utilization of continuous improvement tools: PDCA, RCA, Value stream maps, 8 wastes walkthroughs; Utilizations of Lean and six sigma methodologies to lead process improvements initiatives for achieving measurable efficiency, cost reduction, or performance improvement gains. 70% (domestic) travel required.

Duties:Apply engineering knowledge in the poultry industry to contribute to establishing, measuring, and improving the processes in the different business areas. Apply statistical knowledge measuring and analyzing data to create and update Statistical Process Control to close gaps. Regularly visit Pilgrims plants and live locations across the United States, working with plant teams to prepare, train, and conduct process improvement initiatives utilizing lean and continuous improvement tools as part of Pilgrims Management Method. Develop and manage process improvements for achieving measurable efficiency, cost reduction, or performance improvement gains. Primary contact for Fresh Food Service and Big Birds business unit to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives and to develop and support plant COEs. Responsible for developing and improving material, auditing plant locations, and other support as necessary across all business units. Co-own the Management Pillar implementation by teaching all its tools, training personnel, serving as support, and continuously improving the material to support company priorities. Lead 2 annual meetings with the COEs of each plant by planning the agenda, developing the content to be presented and communicated, and facilitating the meetings in conjunction with the other members of the Operational Excellence management team. Act on an ad-hoc basis to be part of any other project or initiative as part of Pilgrims Management Method.
