PerformCare-PA BH Care Connector

Position supports the Children's System of Care (IBHS/ABA/FBMHS/CRR-HH/RTF) prior authorization, referral and discharge process by managing the flow of requests to the Clinical Care Managers for Children's Level Of Care (LOC) to ensure accurate and timely processing of requests in accordance with the Pennsylvania/OMHSAS regulations specific to the eligibility and prior authorization determination process for the Pennsylvania Children's System of Care.   

Education/Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in human services field required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Experience in Children's Behavioral Health Service Delivery System/direct practice in a Children's Behavioral Health Level of Care (i.e., IBHS, FBMHS, CRR, RTF, etc.) required.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of prior work experience in Childrens's Behavioral Health delivery systems preferred.
• Direct practice in a Children's Behavioral Health Level of Care (i.e., IBHS, FBMHS, CRR, RTF, etc.) preferred.
• Knowledge base in Medicaid, Medicare, or Commercial Managed Care Systems preferred.
• Experience in Healthcare or Managed care preferred.
• Member service or customer service telephone experience preferred.

Other:

• Residency in the state of Pennsylvania preferred.
