As a Program Specialist, you will serve as the training liaison for the agency by mentoring, training, and shadowing staff via Charting the Course or Supervisory Training Series modules. You may share responsibility of covering Supervisor Emergency Duty Coverage as needed. You will be expected to model the guiding mission, vision, and values of the agency, including maintaining a strength based and respectful attitude at all times. You may have the opportunity to travel overnight to attend local, state, or regional trainings and will be required to maintain a regular, continuous presence at worksites. Additional responsibilities include: Coordinating and establishing schedules for newly hired staff to shadow and train beside seasoned casework staff in the field and office Participating in interviews for caseworkers or casework supervisors, and providing input for selection Supplying information to the community about the agencies mission, vision, and values through events and trainings Attending committees or meetings and relaying vital information back to the agency

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Supervisor emergency duty coverage will be scheduled as needed. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of professional level experience in the field of children, youth and families; and a bachelor's degree; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
