DESCRIPTION OF WORK The role entails carrying out a range of technical responsibilities related to inspecting materials and workmanship on highway construction projects. This includes conducting inspections and tests to ensure compliance with contractual requirements and established specifications. The inspector is responsible for examining various aspects of highway construction work, such as verifying grades, elevations, and stakeouts of roadways and basic structures. Additionally, you will perform mathematical calculations to assess the consistency of materials being used, create sketches, record any changes to field plans, and maintain comprehensive inspection, progress, and quality control reports associated with the ongoing work. Furthermore, the inspector will provide support with project office duties, contributing to the smooth operation and coordination of the overall project.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.   REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year of experience in highway or bridge surveying, design, construction, orinspection work; or One year of experience in quality control of materials or building or construction industry experience, which includes reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, or schematics; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
