Description

A well-known prestigious law firm is looking to hire a Family Law Paralegal to the team. Located in Katy, TX, this person will be assisting with the attorneys with a heavy caseload.

Assisting clients with discovery and paperwork

Drafting correspondence and legal documents

Sending and receiving letters and faxes

Arranging court hearings, mediations, depositions, and other appointments

Filing documents with the court

Assisting attorneys with other case-related tasks

Answering incoming phone calls

Helping to ensure the office remains neat and presentable

What you Can Expect from Us:

Requirements

College degree, paralegal certificate, or several years of relevant experience

Bilingual candidates and those with prior family law experience are preferred

Dependable; need to know the task will get done without follow-up

Strong attention-to-detail

Phenomenal verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills

Ability to use the latest technology, including Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Apple/Mac computers, etc.

Positive outlook and willingness to take on whatever tasks need to be accomplished
