St. Mary Medical Center, a member of Trinity Health is looking for a (FT/Days or Evenings) Inventory Control Clerk to join our team!

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Shift: Days (7:00am -3:00pm) OR Evenings (3pm-11:30pm)

Inventory Control Clerk (OR)

  • Oversees all Operating Room Stock Inventory

  • Develops Inventory PAR Levels for OR Stock Supplies within Materials Management Information System.

  • Follows Protocols and Practices to facilitate supply inventory and procurement.

  • Reconciles, decrements, adjust inventory numbers to match supply levels and physical inventory amount, monthly within Materials Management Information System.

  • Restocks point of use inventory from Main OR Location

  • Enters supply orders into the Materials Management Information System

  • Assists with Contract Supply Changes, establishes location and PAR levels in Materials Management Information System.

  • Is present during all physical inventory counts.

  • Performs all duties in a professional and confidential manner, maintaining a good rapport with all hospital personnel, physicians, vendors, patients and visitors.

  • Communicates any outstanding inventory issues to Resource Agent, Department Managers and Director.

  • Works closely with receiving to facilitate the delivery of OR orders

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalency (required)

  • Previous hospital inventory experience preferred,

  • Familiarity with PAR levels highly desired,

  • Prior use of automated supply systems.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills required
