Butler America Data Entry Clerk in Lenexa, Kansas

Data Entry Clerk Location: Lenexa, KS Job ID: #69102 Pay Range: $17-20 ph (W2) Duration: 6 mos Job Summary Supports multiple areas in retrieving and updating digital documents and database files. In addition to scanning and inputting data into an online system, their duties could also include sorting and organizing physical documents. Responsibilities • Prepares source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information. • Establishes entry priorities. • Processes training source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies. • Resolves deficiencies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to the team leader for resolution. • Enters training data by inputting alphabetic and numeric information on keyboard according to screen format. • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures. • Verifies entered training data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data. • Combines data from both systems when account information is incomplete. • Purges files to eliminate duplication of data. • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Basic Qualifications: • Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter. • Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware and software. • Knowledge using MS Office programs such as: Word, PowerPoint & Excel. • Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
