Responsibilities include directing and supervising the efficient and compliant operation of the laboratory animal care and use program of the Division of Laboratory Animal Resources; and is responsible for the fiscal operations and management of the DLAR budget. In addition, the Director works with the IACUC, Office of the Attending Veterinarian, and other UK administrators, faculty and staff to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and policies related to humane care and use of animals for research, teaching and testing.There is an internal employee being considered for this position (IEBC).Skills / Knowledge / AbilitiesMS Windows, Excel, Word, OutlookDoes this position have supervisory responsibilities?
