JPMorgan Chase Global Credit - Senior Desk Analyst - Executive Director in New York, New York

Seeking Executive level Senior Desk Analyst hire to focus on Performing Credit (Investment Grade, High Yield, CDS, Stressed Credit)

Job Summary:

As a Executive Director, senior desk analyst, you will work collectively with traders and sales to generate ideas and make secondary markets in high grade/high yield bonds/CDS, CLOs, distressed bonds, loans, trade claims, indices, exotics, and illiquid credits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Credit analysis on both a single-name and thematic approach basis

  • Working directly with credit traders across several trading groups

  • Identify compelling trade opportunities

  • Providing real-time analysis of relevant news flow on a company and industry basis

  • Interacting with the global sales force, client base, publishing research team and broader desk analyst team

  • Manage risk - on both single-name and broader book basis

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • At least 10+ years in credit markets, preferably with experience in a trading/investing environment

  • Strong work ethic and be a self-starter who is able to work independently and is also comfortable being part of a larger team

  • Strong credit skills, with rigorous analytical capabilities

  • Ability to multi-task and work on numerous credits across different industries

  • Willingness and ability to pivot quickly in their work focus with an understanding that some opportunities will last months/years and others days

  • Strong communication skills with ability to provide clear and succinct verbal updates to colleagues, clients and senior executives

  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Trading desk / buy-side / investing experience

  • Experience looking at credits across a broad subset of industries

Base Pay/Salary
