DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The main duty of this role is to oversee the administrative support services section of the bureau of radiation protection (BRP) director's office. You will report to the program analyst 3 and be responsible for managing the budget, personnel, procurement, contracting, and various administrative tasks. Additionally, you will conduct research on budget, personnel, and management matters and provide guidance to the program analyst 3, bureau director, division managers, and section supervisors in both the central office and the radiation protection regional office. You will also have supervisory responsibilities for the administrative support and clerical support sections.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment.

  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.

  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days a week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
