Honeywell Lead Project Engineer - Export Compliance, Cyber Security & Human Factors in Phoenix, Arizona

Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program-specific performance for cyber security, Human factors, and Export compliance within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be the technical leader in these areas and be the primary decision maker for program cost, schedule, and technical issues. You will lead a team in the prioritization of work packages, design goals, and objectives, and drive overall program performance for Avionics (Epic, Apex, and Anthem) programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Avionics Engineering Programs for cyber security, Human factors, and Export compliance across multiple Centers of Excellence

  • Work with Business, PMO, and other leadership.

  • Manage cost and schedule

  • Assess and drive achievement of programs

  • Strategy development

  • Early problem detection and course correction.

  • Annual Operating Plan

  • Involvement with program pursuits and launches

  • Manage Program Metrics

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

WE VALUE

  • Experience leading Aerospace engineering projects and/or teams.

  • Experience with process definitions and deployment.

  • Knowledge of Cyber security compliance, Human factors compliance and Export compliance as applied to aerospace.

  • Business acumen – knowledge of current and emerging practices, methods, and information relating to discipline and application within the industry.

  • Diverse and global teaming and collaboration

  • Strong management operating system that facilitates communication

  • Ensures that departmental core competencies include continuous Project Engineer skill development.

  • Understand of business objectives and more importantly the ability to interact with our customers

  • Work with functional leaders to prioritize resources and implement project objectives.

  • Persuade to influence other to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches

  • Significant experience in engineering
