We’re looking for a Senior Disability Administrator to join our NUC team at MBPS. In this role, you are expected to:
Manage the Long-Term Disability (LTD) perm block, ensuring offsets are in place and periodic follow-ups with claimants are conducted to ensure there is no change in physical and cognitive function.
Call stakeholders (Plan Sponsors, doctors, pharmacy provider, etc) as required

Key Responsibilities:
Call the claimant and conduct interview to gather information regarding work ability, hobbies, functional level and other income.
Call stakeholders (Plan Sponsors, doctors, pharmacy provider, etc) as required
Refer claims to Perm Specialist if there are concerns following the telephone interview
Request and assess medical documentation from claimant’s doctors to review update on treatment and condition of the claimant
Prepare letters to claimants and other stakeholders
Liaise with LTD Case Managers, Perm Specialist and KW TD65 SDA if there are questions.
Qualifications:
Education: High School/Senior High/Vocational Course/1-year completed in a Bachelor's program with relevant work experience of at least 2 years; Bachelor's Degree holders are welcome to apply
Experience: At least one to two years of relevant experience
Hybrid Work Arrangement: Amenability and readiness to work onsite and from home anytime (dependent on business need AND/OR current external environment/situation)
Typing skills (at least 8000 KPH or 35 WPM)
Has excellent oral and written communication skills
Good understanding and appreciation of the Group Benefits environment and its clients
Excellent understanding of Navigator and other Citrix applications.
