The Entry-Level Carpenter will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, gaining valuable skills and knowledge in all aspects of the trade.Essential Function:-Assist in interpreting design drawings and specifications to understand project requirements.-Perform various tasks related to construction and remodeling projects, including demolition, framing, installation, and repairs.-Assist with layout work for walls, millwork, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and other carpentry components.-Participate in rough framing using wood and light gauge metal framing techniques.-Assist in finish work, including drywall finishing, flooring installation, ceiling installation, millwork assembly, and trim work.-Coordinate and assist in the installation of doors, frames, windows, and hardware.-Develop and refine finish carpentry skills, including wood trim and cabinet installation.Position Requirements:-Self-motivated and dependable, with reliable transportation to job sites.-Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.-Ability to navigate job sites, including stairs and elevated structures.-Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.-Functions effectively as part of a team -Previous experience in carpentry is preferred but not required; however, a strong interest in learning and developing carpentry skills is essential.-Ability to work effectively as part of a team, following instructions and contributing to project goals. -Basic understanding of construction drawings and specifications. -Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.-Must be ready, willing, and able to travel if/when necessary. -Willingness to travel if necessary.
