The role you’ll contribute:

Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for step down patients, post cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology studies, peripheral studies/interventions and cardiac device implants, based on established clinical nursing practice standards as specified by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses Cardiac Recovery Registered Nurses. Care includes monitoring LOC and vital signs (NIBP, HR, O2 Sat, and Respirations) of patients recovering from moderate sedation. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation according to established protocols and evidence – based clinical practice standards.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Monitors LOC and vital signs of patient

· Provides patient care using the nursing process to provide assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to established protocols and evidence-based clinical practice standards

· Removal of venous and arterial sheaths using manual or mechanical pressure to ensure hemostasis

· Monitors site post sheath removal sites for hematoma

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Recent acute care experience.

· Graduate of accredited school of Nursing.

· Associates Degree

· Current Florida licensure as a Registered Nurse

· ACLS & BLS
